Singapore - Milan - Moltrasio

Our first Italian coffee and panini.

sunny 22 °C

After a long flight that left Singapore at 1.30 am we arrived in Milan 12 hours later. Lugging our bags to the platform we then caught the train from Milano to Saronno where we needed to change trains for Como. The train stations are not easy with four bags to lug downstairs and up. We missed our connecting train by 5 minutes. We filled in the hour by eating panini, drinking coffee, and chatting to some travelling New Zealanders. Train to Como and then Taxi to Moltrasio. Except where was the apartment as there was no number? Eventually we found it thanks to the landlady (Rachel) turning up, and we settled in, enjoyed the view and had a big sleep. A walk down to the water in the afternoon to enjoy un vino and un gelati for the kids. Shopping at the local shop for our food for the week. Interesting process with our rusty Italian.

What a view to wake up to!
